Anyone know how to get the professional acyrlic nails off without ruining real nails (at home)?

Hi There!

Having had them on (and off) for many years of my life, I've learned how to do it at home.

All you need to do is go to a local store and get some acetone. Fill a bowl, and soak your nails in it for as long as it takes - sometimes up to 45 minutes. They will start to look like gel and feel soft. You can roll the acrylic off with your other hand and then use a nail file to finish the job.

Hope this helps!Anyone know how to get the professional acyrlic nails off without ruining real nails (at home)?
Go to the drugstore down the nail polish aisle they have little plastic jars of stuff to take it off, you have to soak your nails in it, basically it is acetone nail polish remover. It is much easier than pulling them off they way they do at the salon.Anyone know how to get the professional acyrlic nails off without ruining real nails (at home)?
Well there aren't really any ways to get them off without ruining your real nails (they already are ruined...but not forever). But what I do when I used to wear them is soak them in nail polish remover - then after about 10 minutes, they'll come right off. Your real nails will still be rough since they filed the entire nail when they first put on the acryllic. Then just let your nails grow out and they will be back to the smooth surface again. Hope this helps!
before putting on nails anykind put on some stuff from walmart its like a clear base nailpolish and you put it on before and it makes it a LOT easier to take it off !!! and also try soaking your nails in hot water with alchohol and it wont damage ur nails too badly hope it helps -helen-
